It doesn’t stand out, doesn’t do much and it’s pretty forgettable. I got over it though and find that I do enjoy her music even if she’ll never be one of my favorites. It took me a minute to warm up to her cause I thought she was a bit over-rated and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why she was. Lee Hyori has a surprisingly nice and or decent voice. It’s not a comfortable middle though, it’s kinda like a cross between OK and me just shrugging my shoulders. Lee Hyori’s first album weirdly named Stylish… E HyOlee is neither good nor bad, just somewhere in the middle. Start with It’s Hyorish and go from there. I’d skip this if I were someone just getting into her, her later albums are much better. The only good songs on this album were, believe it or not, are the ballads: Winter Freshness and Last Farewell, which isn’t saying much as they were dull but her vocals were nice. I don’t know how she stayed conscious enough in the studio to record all these forgettable tracks. Hyori has a lot of watered down rnb tracks on here, that seems like they should be dance or up-tempo tracks yet the delivery on every last one of them was just so lazy. I don’t know how she managed to take a step down with Dark Angel, but as I was listening to this album again for this review I just couldn’t find a fuck to give about it. Didn’t really care for her first album but it was better than this. I don’t recall it being this mediocre the first time I listened to it. I really thought I liked this album more than I do. Under rated track – A Barbershop’s Daughter Guilty pleasure track – Will It Get Better w Big-tone

Least favorite track – Unusual w Seo Jung Hwan All in all, a really good album an one I would recommend people start with if they’re first getting into her music. I wish she would have ended the album with My Life, because though I didn’t write off Unusual w Seo Jung Hwan it’s a pretty lackluster track. The tracks I really dug though were the more slower paced songs: A Barbershop’s Daughter and Will It Get Better w Big-tone were really nice, and the both stand out on surprising track Red Car w Kim Gun Mo really stuck with me (I didn’t care for Kim Gun Mo’s parts though). This album on the other hand stands out, even songs I didn’t think I would like such as: Hey Mr.BiG and P.P.P -Punky Punky Party- w Nassun, they’re fun. Hyori’s previous two albums, though not bad, didn’t leave much of an impression. I didn’t really care for this album my first listen through, but listening to it now for this review I actually really like it.
LEE HYORI H LOGIC ALBUM DOWNLOAD HOW TO
I now really like her voice -it’s nothing special but she really knows how to use it, especially in her more ballad oriented tracks. However, after this album I actually started liking her music an decided to give her a chance. I’m actually surprised by how much I disliked her really I just felt like her voice was average and she was over rated as life. I remember when Lee Hyori released her third Korean album It’s Hyorish in that was back when I absolutely did not like her. Under rated track – How Did We Get w Daesung It’s not better than It’s Hyorish, a step down actually, but it’s loads better than her first two albums for sure. Hyori actually has a pretty nice voice, which shines when she tones it down a bit. Then you have the rest… aside from the three tracks I liked the rest just fill up space. Gaeri of Leessang, Want Me Back and How Did We Get w Daesung. You have the tracks I liked as well such as Swing feat. A couple of the tracks were annoying, but tolerable like Love Sign feat. This album wasn’t all that terrible, but it suffers from what her first two albums suffered from, it has no presence in doesn’t really stand out. Want Me Back is probably the closest I’ve gotten to actually vibing to one, and even then I had to give it a couple listens. I’m glad she mostly shied away from it, some people can pull it off, in I like them every once in awhile but I’ve never been impressed with one of her more rnb flavored tracks. I mostly prefer her ballads, upbeat catchy tracks or serious tunes ala Swing feat. I’ve heard worse, but it doesn’t suit her and really never did, even with the sexy image she was going for. At this point with this being Lee Hyori’s fourth album: H-Logic I’ve grown annoyed with her watered down rnb vibe.
